Wait for the call stood by the phone, turn over the glass Empty your pockets full of sand for it is a waster The light spirals burn a hole in the back of my head And when the call comes do not speak The static will cut you off Fruits of silent protest burn away at the flesh Holding back your fears to know this

Take me somewhere new, somewhere you knew Show me something out of this world The stars and the sun will revolve through our heads So please won't you show me? Show me something new, somewhere you knew And break me open, see what comes out I'm sure there will be not that much to see inside of me And everything is all just part of everything with which we grew So please won't you show me? Show me something new, somewhere you knew

And he stands in the corner of the room With nothing on his face There's something he wants to say But he's just got to leave that place And he won't He never will He cannot Would make him ill He stands there still Waiting for someone to take his breath away And now we've come to this And we'll have ourselves stay indoors And lock us up or burn us down or tie us in chains There's nothing here except empty names and faces And break his foot and he won't walk A gash to his face I stood there in the corner of the room And I watched them break you

I've washed the white walls of everything they've ever known and now the screens are blank The canvas is fresh to start again And the streets are empty The artists are strung up and drunk So who'll be creating? The seeds are sown where no plants grow Today is a new day for all time We will break down the walls Today is a new day for all time The canvas is fresh to start again And the streets are empty The artists are strung up and drunk So who'll be creating? The seeds are sown where no plants grow

Follow me to the hole inside my soul Bury me with you Between us two you will find that... You don't know me at all

I've searched every wall Every room Checked every door Smashed every window They'll find us out So pass the glass and we'll all drink our fill And they found me burning my way out of the back room Everyone else has sold their way to the centre But I'm buying my way out And I found my way out in the blue hour...

Hello, is anyone there?

about

"a real labour of love...like a fine gem that has been cut and polished to perfection. 5/5"
- Sunday Rock Show, BCFM bcfm.org.uk

"This could easily be the soundtrack to a dystopian future - just picture civilisation collapsing and the skies turning grey set to the music of Panic Office... 'Blue Hour' isn't the peppiest record you'll hear - but it's no simple feat to create something with such emotional impact. Rome wasn't built in a day, and every strum on this record is deliberate, purposeful,"
- Live-music-scene.co.uk

about

Panic Office Weston Super Mare, UK

Panic Office formed around Cheddar with various members coming and going. Then in 2007, with a stable line-up, Panic Office released their début album 'Ghost Music'. A blend of prog-rock, paranoid metal and icy experimentalism it was a work beyond their years. So it took four years to catch up with themselves and release their intense, spacious and intricate follow up 'Blue Hour'. ... more
